What is Kava Mint?

Kava Mint is a decentralized CDP protocol that allows you to borrow USDX, Kava’s stablecoin, using your cryptocurrency assets as collateral. Users can borrow USDX against the following supported collaterals with interest fees for variable assets ranging from 0.5% — 5%, with most having a 2.5% interest fee:

  • BUSD
  • BNB
  • BTCB
  • XRPB
  • KAVA

Please note that the price of USDX is designed to stay consistent with $1.00 on the Mint protocol, but the market price of USDX can fluctuate around $1.00. USDX will always be redeemed at $1.00 when you make repayments on the Mint protocol.
