Staking: How to delegate/un-delegate
This article aims to help users how to delegate and un-delegate their KAVA with a validator on the Kava app.
How do I delegate my KAVA to a validator?
Step 1: Go to the ‘Product’ tab on the web app and select ‘Staking’
Step 2: Select one of the supported wallets to connect to the Kava app.
Step 3: Click ‘Delegate’ and select one of the validators to delegate KAVA.
Side note: you can check the validators here to check their voting participation, commission, and uptime rate.
Step 4: Type down a desired amount of KAVA you wish to delegate with a validator and click ‘Delegate KAVA.’
How do I un-undelegate my KAVA from a validator?
Step 1: Go to the ‘Product’ tab on the web app and select ‘Staking’
Step 2: Select one of the supported wallets to connect to the Kava app.
Step 3: Click ‘Undelegate’ and select a delegation to undelegate KAVA.
Step 4: Please note that the un-delegation process will take 21 days for KAVA to be available in your wallet.
